Casual campers are limited to 1 guest vehicle pass per day. (maximum 4 people)

By reservation only. No drop-ins.

Families are our niche market, therefore maintaining a family atmosphere is our #1 priority.

Debonair Campground caters to Families and People Who Desire Peacefulness

  • Single Family Occupancy per Campsite. Maximum of 2 adults per site with few exceptions.
  • Must be a minimum of 25 years of age unless you are a family with children.
  • Maximum of one trailer and one small tent on RV sites and 2 tents max on campsites.

Rates

Rates are based on single family occupancy or 4 people. A single family is considered 2 adults and their children.

Overnight Campsites 78-92 (top right corner of site map) are serviced with electrical and water hook-up. There is a Dump Station on the premise. These sites are in an open area (group camping setting). If your RV takes up most or all of the site’s driveway, there is a nearby visitor’s parking lot you can park your vehicle in.

Site 95 is serviced with 30-amp electric & water hook-up. This site is very large and has no immediate neighbors. Priority is given to units larger than 34 ft or your unit does not fit in any other available site.

Every campsite is furnished with a picnic table and firepit.

** A standard 15 amp plug is the same type you use at your house to plug in a TV, Stereo, Fridge, Toaster, etc.

Roof Air Conditioner, Hair Dryer, Microwave, Electric Kettle, Electric Frying Pan, Coffee Machine, Toaster or Toaster Oven should not be run at the same time on 15-amps or you will trip the circuit breaker. As long as you understand the electrical limitations you should be fine.

Hot water tanks must be run on propane, not electric, on a 15-amp site.

Campsite Services: 30-amp electrical & water hook-up

Electric water heaters and AC or electric heat cannot run at the same time on 30-amp service. Be careful when running multiple high draw appliances as it can blow the breaker. There is a dump station located next to the washroom building.

RESERVATIONS

Minimum of a 3-night stay is most often required for Long Weekends

  • Includes weekend closest to July 1st.
  • Does not apply to regular weekends or seasonal sites
  • For the months of July and August, a minimum of a 2-night stay is often required.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • You will receive one complimentary vehicle permit for your vehicle for the duration of your stay. Additional vehicles requested at time of reservation are $4 (GST included) per night for overnight registered campers. After reservation is made, extra vehicles are $8 (GST included) per night for overnight registered campers.
  • Dogs are allowed in the campground providing they are friendly, kept on a leash, do not continually bark, and are cleaned up after (on and off the site). Pets are NOT allowed on the beach.
  • Paddle crafts (eg: paddle boards/kayaks) are restricted to north pond
  • Any damages derived by occupants/visitors of campsites will be charged to the credit card provided at time of booking.
  • All sites are furnished with a picnic table & fire pit.
  • Cutting live trees, branches or brush and relocating firepits is prohibited and subject to a $50.00 Restoration Fee.

 

We are a Family Camping Park

We accept families, mature couples (one per campsite), as well as referrals from Debonair Seasonal Campers.

Try one of these alternative campgrounds should there be no vacancy for the dates you need or do not fit our criteria:

VISITING GUESTS

You are responsible for your visitors at all times, everywhere in the campground.  All visitors must have a valid Vehicle Parking Permit prior to parking and/or using facilities. Guests visiting a registered overnight camper are required to purchase a Vehicle Parking Permit upon arrival. These permits are $8 (GST included) per day per vehicle for a maximum of 4 people over the age of 5. Extra people are $3.00 + GST per person. Permits are valid until 11:00 pm and include use of the campground facilities. Penalty charges for unregistered guests will be charged to the occupants of the campsite they are visiting.

Check-in / Check-out times:

Check-in time is anytime after 3 p.m. Earlier check-ins are often possible, depending on campsite availability. Call first to see if your site will be available before check-in time. Check-out time is 2 p.m.

Cancellation Policy:

*If you cancel 3 or more days in advance, you will receive a full refund, excluding the $10.00 Admin Fee.
*If you cancel 1-2 days prior to reservation arrival date, you will be partially refunded (total amount less the first night’s camping fees + GST).  $10.00 Admin fee is non-refundable.
*If you fail to cancel or cancel on or after your arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Rules and Regulations

1. We are not responsible for accidents, break-ins, thefts, or losses. Vandalism, disorderly, illegal, abusive, hazardous or offensive conduct and/or language is prohibited. Anyone exhibiting this behavior will face immediate eviction and the involvement of law enforcement. You are responsible for the behavior of anyone (visitors, campers) visiting your campsite. All visitors are bound by campground rules and require a valid vehicle permit. Please inform us of any problems.

2. Be respectful and considerate of other campers. Any activity or noise which intrudes on another camper anytime is not permitted. Your favorite music is often not your neighbor’s. Loud music is prohibited anytime. Quiet time is from 11:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Music or audio equipment is prohibited during Quiet Time. Debonair Campground reserves the right to limit the number of people on a site at any time. Generators are prohibited at all times.

3. Your site must be kept clean, neat, and orderly at all times. A $50 clean-up/restoration fee will be charged to credit card on campsites that are left messy. Messy sites will be given a warning and then an eviction if not cleaned up within 30 minutes of given warning. Non-registered guests are not allowed in the campground during Quiet Time. After 11:00 p.m., a penalty charge and/or eviction(s) will be given in the event there are extra people on your site who are not registered.

4. All garbage must be in plastic tied bags then put into blue garbage barrels. Please do not litter or leave garbage in fire pits.

5. Washing dishes, loitering, smoking, pets, and bicycles are not allowed in the public washrooms. Washing vehicles in the campground is prohibited.

6. Tampering with, misusing, defacing, damaging, removing, or altering other people’s possessions (including picnic tables, live trees, branches, and brush) is prohibited.

7. Please drive slowly & carefully. Watch for pedestrians. Children play everywhere. Speeding vehicles will be evicted immediately. Unauthorized off-road vehicles are prohibited. All vehicles, including visitors, must have a valid Debonair Vehicle Permit at all times (available at the office 24/7). Vehicles found parked in the campground without a Vehicle Parking Permit or with an incorrect/invalid permit will need to purchase an appropriate permit immediately plus a $10.00 penalty charge.

8. Use of the Playground Equipment and Beach Pond is at your own risk.

9. Alcohol consumption and Cannabis use is prohibited to minors. Exhibiting drunken behavior is not tolerated. This is a family park. 

10. Cannabis as per Manitoba Provincial Legislation is permitted providing consumers are of legal age of 19 and can only be consumed in a private area residence. (Trailer or tent) which includes back yards (Site). Smoking or vaping cannabis in public places is PROHIBITED.  No smoking or vaping on the BEACH, streets, playgrounds or Hotspots. Again, this is a family park.

11 Evictions may be given to campsites consequent to any violation(s) of the regulations. Absolutely no refund or compensation with any eviction or early departure.

12. Check out time is 2:00PM

13.Removing your camping unit(s) from your site will automatically be assumed you have given up your site unless you advise management that you would like it saved for you for the remainder of your paid lease.

14.Blowing off fireworks/firecrackers or Chinese/Sky lanterns is prohibited.

15.An eviction or penalty charge of $8.00 per person over and above registration fees will be charged for every unregistered guest.

16. Phone messages are posted at the Camp Office. Only Emergency messages will be delivered to campsites.

17. The water from our system is chlorinated and sampled routinely for analysis. To date, every analysis result reported a zero bacteria count.

18. Water balloons are prohibited throughout the campground.

Stay and Save Offer

  • Stay for 7-29 consecutive nights and receive a 13% discount off the regular rate

Save Fuel and Money Offer

(Valid from May 1 to June 15 and September 5 to October 5)

Pay for 2 consecutive weekends (minimum of 4 nights combined) and leave your trailer disconnected during the week at no charge while you are away. Payment of both weekends will need to be paid upon reservation and is non-refundable. Only one Admin Fee will apply to both reservations. Most often you will not need to move your trailer off the site. This depends on availability at time of booking. In the unlikely event the site has other reservations during the week, you can store your trailer at another location on the property. When booking, let us know you want the Save Fuel and Money Offer.

Are we required to make a reservation or can we just drop in?
Prior reservations must be made. We do not accept drop-ins.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
You must have someone 25 years or older on your campsite in order stay at Debonair.
How many Adults are allowed to register to a campsite?
2 with few exceptions
How many tents/trailers am I allowed to have on a campsite?
You are allowed to have two tents OR one trailer and one small tent per site. You can also have one dining tent on your campsite if there is enough space.
How many vehicles are allowed per site?
You will receive one complimentary vehicle permit for your vehicle upon arrival for the duration of your stay.

Additional vehicles requested at time of reservation are $3.00 + GST per night for overnight registered campers. After reservation is made, extra vehicles are $6.67 + GST per night for overnight registered campers.

Are my guests required to purchase a vehicle permit?
Yes. Visitors of registered campers need to purchase a vehicle permit ($6.67 + GST per vehicle) at the office upon entry or face penalty charges. If the office is closed, there is self-registration at the door. Visitors must leave the campground by 11:00 PM.
Why is there a charge for extra vehicles and guests?
Every vehicle generates more traffic, congestion and parking and every person adds to operating expenses.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is anytime after 3 p.m. Check-out time is 2 p.m. If you would like to check-in earlier, please call in advance to see if your site will be available.
Do you charge a reservation fee?
Yes. A $10.00 Administration Fee per campsite per stay is charged.
How much goes through on my credit card to reserve?
The full amount goes through on your credit card when you reserve.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel 3 or more days in advance, you will receive a full refund less the $10.00 admin fee.

If you cancel 1-2 days prior to reservation arrival date, you will be partially refunded (total amount less the first night’s camping fees and admin fee.

Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed providing they are friendly, kept on a leash, do not continually bark, and cleaned up after. Pets are not allowed on the beach.
Are carpets allowed?
No. Carpets kill the grass. The next occupants will appreciate it.
What services do your campsites provide?

Our electric and water sites (78-92) offer 15 or 30 amp electrical service, as well as a water hook-up. The campground also offers a dumping station.

Tent Site 93 is serviced with 15-amp electrical.

Tent Site 94 is not serviced.

Site 95 is serviced with 30-amp electrical, water hook-up.

Can I use my AC on a 15-amp site?
Newer model RV’s most often can run one RV Air Conditioner off of a 15-amp electrical receptacle as long as you turn your fridge and water heater on propane mode and turn off your AC when using high-amp demand items such as a microwave, blow dryer, vacuum, toaster, coffee maker, etc.
Do you sell firewood?
Yes, $7 per bundle.
Can I bring in my own firewood?
Yes. This is not a problem.
What are your quiet times?
Our quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. We have an attendant patrol the campground to help enforce this quiet time.
Can I play my sound system during Quiet Time if it is set at a low volume?
No. Audio equipment is permitted on low volume from 9am – 11pm.
What does your campsite come with?
Each campsite comes equipped with a picnic table and a firepit.
Are the showers free?
No. Showers are $1.00 for 8 minutes
Do you have laundry facilities on site?
Yes we do. You will find our coin-operated laundry facility located in the washroom/shower building.
